We’re back and ready to share the first release of 2023. Retumbo (V.A.) is a compilation inspired by the slow cadence and flavors of cumbia. Latin America’s strongest rhythm has been with us since the very beginning, and this time we’ve called on artists to produce tracks inspired by this rhythm we love so much. In this release, we present six artists from different corners of the world: Leeu from South Africa, Prabumi from Indonesia, H2O from France, Reyna Tropical from Mexico, Orquesta Zagros from the migrant heart of Paris, Ground ft Thomash & Saeko Killy from Japan; accompanied by a bonus track from our essential artists, El Búho & Barrio Lindo, returning to breathe life into their project, History of Colour.

A special thanks to Federico Estévez and Martin Bruhn who shared some great samples full of cumbia flavor to serve as a starting point for these tracks.

Estamos de vuelta y listos para compartir el primer lanzamiento de 2023. Retumbo V.A. es una compilación inspirada en el sabor y cadencia lenta de la cumbia.
Desde nuestro comienzo, el ritmo más fuerte de Latinoamérica estuvo presente y esta vez convocamos a artistas a producir inspiradxs en este ritmo que tanto amamos.
Esta vez presentamos a seis artistas de distintos rincones del mundo:
Leeu de Sudáfrica, Prabumi de Indonesia, H2o de Francia, Reyna Tropical de Mexico, Orquesta Zagros desde el corazón migrante de París, Ground ft Thomash & Saeko Killy desde Japón; acompañados de un bonus track de nuestros esenciales El Búho & Barrio Lindo, volviendo a dar vida a su proyecto History of Colour.
