juergeneisenmann Some years ago i spent 2 month in Xela Guatemala. Every morning there were some Kolibri coming. I enjoyed that very much. Furthermore we went to visit the biotopo del qetzales. Then i read a Book about quetzales and the Popol Vuh.
Furthermore we stayed for some in Peru at the Lago yarincoches and the ucayali River.
The Music is like this My experience.

MrJelly There are some lovely tracks here. Mata Virgem is up there with the most calming music I have ever heard. It all sounds as exotic as you'd expect from the cover and is beautifully produced to boot. Super.

This album was born from three years of random encounters and infinite computer hours. Together and apart, the three members of Pássaro slowly crafted soundscapes which, over time, took on a life of their own - they came into being.

Melodies swell around the sweet spot between Brazilian northeastern traditions and southeastern electronica, glued together with warm guitars and soft bass lines.

"Before the world existed, for a brief moment, there was only "Sound". In that instant a voice sings and calls everything into existence: from the depth of the void to the light of harmony. Ebbing and flowing, in a trance of crescendos, a psychedelic caravan floats down the cosmic river. Sinuous keyboards linger and fade. Like waking up from a strange yet beautiful dream.

Pássaro calmly build the soundscape of a magical jungle, at times soaring above the canopy in breezy flutes, at times diving deep under the shadow of the trees, in the heart of the jungle, where fantastic critters add their digital chirps. Night falls. We gather around a bonfire. There’s joy and dance, singing and the clapping of hands. A thin crescent moon sets on the horizon. Creatures come closer and join the dance. The fire cracks, sending sparks towards the sky. We turn our eyes up and it’s time to travel across the universe, on board of this intergalactic canoe."

Pássaro is a trio from Brazil composed by Irû Waves, Ygor Marotta & Tomás Xavier. They have been exploring this collective way of composing music together since 2019, inspired by hundreds of jam sessions and by the psychedelic landscapes of Brazil’s nature.
